When the light meets the edge…. A photo journey

James Torrenzano A.T.R.  is an art therapist who worked 31 years in the Fairfax County School System in Virginia, a former faculty member for over eighteen years at Marymount University teaching art therapy and psychology classes and a professional magician. During these years,  Mr Torrenzano crossed paths with over 5000 kids. His educational web site can be found at: www.azenmoment.com He was nominated for “Teacher of the Year” in Fairfax County Public Schools.  His photography has been influenced by his personal journey to seek the light within.  “What is Essential is Invisible to the Eye,”  was a valedictorian speech that reflects James’ photography journey.   In 1975 he took his first drawing class at Georgetown University in which he used his camera rather than a pencil to draw  ~ light and the edge of form helped James to shape is photographic images.  He continued to refine his craft by taking photography classes with Jerry Lake at George Washington University.  He has shot numerous homes in the Virginia area.
